Ubisoft on Wednesday announced a release date for Assassin's Creed 3: Remastered. The game is scheduled to launch on March 29.

The remastered version of the game will feature 4K and HDR support & include textures and gameplay improvements,  along with some tweaks in comfort design and game mechanics. Ubisoft also indicated that the game will feature all of its original post-launch content - including the Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets missions, and the Tyranny of King Washington.

Player's will play as Connor, a master Assassin born in the 18th century America, and will fight against a powerful army to save his people and the colonies from destruction and devastation.

A remastered version of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation will also be featured in the game which takes place in New Orleans following a fight for the freedom, lead by an African-French women protagonist.

The game will be available to for PC, PS4, and Xbox One but Ubisoft haven't indicated anything about a Nintendo Switch release.

Players can buy the game individually for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and those having the Assassin's Creed Odyssey season pass can directly download the game without paying any extra bit of money.

Further, Ubisoft announced in January that they'll be releasing a remastered version of their 2014 game - Assassin's Creed Rogue, almost a week before AC3: Remastered, on March 20th.
